She was predeceased by : her parents, Elwin Norris and Verna Norris (Cressey); her husband Kenneth Herrin, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Gilbert; and her siblings, Carroll Norris, Bunky Norris, Hilda Whittemore, Helen Stanhope and Florence Ireland.

She is survived by : her grandson Scott Gilbert (Johanna) of Leeds; her great grandchildren, Kevin and Brock; and her siblings, Ella Wilkins, Russell Norris and Ralph Norris (Minnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
