He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney S. Dinsmore and Gladys Dinsmore (Grant); his wife Dorothy M. Tyler; his children, Emerson Dinsmore and Barbara Dinsmore; his granddaughter Pamela Dinsmore; and his siblings, Donald Dinsmore and Pearl Boardman.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Dinsmore (Laurel) of Oxford, Donald Dinsmore of Calais, Carl Dinsmore (Jane) of Auburn and Mary Murray (Randy) of Turner; his granddaughters, Marie Montalvo, Jennifer Dinovelli and Melissa Grant; and his great grandchild Frankie Grant.
