He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Mary Alice Steele (Goodwin); his sister Elizabeth Yeager (Arthur Yeager); and his brother-in-law Lee Goodwin. He is survived by: his cousin Warren Steele; and his siblings, Claire Goodwin (Steele) of Keizer and Ernest Steele (Teresa) of Brewer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
