She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Sampson and Juliette Sampson; her significant other Wilfred Chouinard (Fred); and her brothers, Richard and Edward Sampson.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Donna), David (Denise), Diane Norman, Cynthia (Mark Gagne), Karen (Darrell Gray), Kim (Joe Eastman) and Nancy Chouinard; her siblings, Doris Therriault and Maurice Sampson; and her pet Rusty. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
