He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest J. McWhinnie and Alice M. Galvin McWhinnie; his wife Betty O'Neill of Lewiston; his daughter Lisa Paradis of Mahwah, NJ; his sister Joan Mathewson of Wilmington, MA; his grandchildren, Katelyn Paradis (Mauricio Cortés Reséndiz) and Ryan Paradis (Rebecca Lepore); his son John Scott McWhinnie; and his sisters, Ernestine Nardone and Shirley Stoddart. He was also cherished by sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
