He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubin Educated and Marion Purington Gallant Jr. Educated; his sisters, Cathleen Duchette and Charlene Gallant; and his stepson-in-law George Plourde Jr..
He is survived by: his close friend Rose A. Edwards of Turner; his children, Nicholas Gallant (Tara) of Auburn and Lianne (Derrick Leblond) of Lewiston; his stepdaughter Cecile Plourde of Lewiston; and his siblings, Josie (Phil Frost) of Wilton and Scott (Sue) of Lewiston. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
