He was predeceased by: his parent William Michaud; his stepdaughter Brenda Cormier; and his siblings, Pauline Danforth, Annette Stults, Beatrice Merrill and George Michaud.

He is survived by: his parent Yvonne Michaud (Bergeron); his spouse Doris Gayton Michaud; his children, Rick Michaud (Celeste) of Arkansas and Debby Cornish (Roger Girardin Jr); his stepchildren, Cindy Bradstreet (Charlie) and Rodney Cormier of South Paris; his grandchildren, Becky Bradstreet, Casandra Michaud and Michael Cornish Zane Michaud; his great grandchild Bryce Stark; and also Poland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
