He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Lavoie and Madeline Lavoie; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Gagnon and Roy Vreeland (Alison Dumont). He is survived by: his wife Marie Lavoie of Auburn; his siblings-in-law, Diane Vreeland, Elaine Dumont (Paul) and Robert W. Gagnon Jr. (Constance); his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Dumont Bates, Carol Vreeland Null (Jake), Kimberly Gagnon Jalbert (Greg), Scott Dumont, John Vreeland and Eric Gagnon (Colleen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigayle Bates, Gavin Bates, Silas Dumont, Isabelle Jalbert, Isaac Jalbert, Lily Gagnon and Hannah Gagnon; and his cousins, Patricia Sirois, Marie McHale and Hazel Daley.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice, 15 Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, ME. 04240, to assist with all the wonderful work they do.
