He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert N. Brackett and Agnes N. Brackett (Masterman); his stepgrandson Deryk Peters; his stepdaughters, Linda Dittler, Michelle Swift and Sheila Rousseau; and his siblings, Harriett Mayo, Russell, Arthur, Malcolm and Robert.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Lou Stevens; his wife Constance J. Dube; his son Richard Brackett (Linda) of Lewiston; his grandchildren, Shawn Brackett (Irene) and Andrea Brackett (Cameron Brousseau); his stepchildren, Michael Cosgrove, Kathleen Peters, Maureen Adams of Otisfield, Gerard Dostie of Auburn and Mary Kay Cosgrove of Windham; and his brother Clifford Brackett. He is also survived by 22 step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren.
