Richard E. Paine Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Paine of Lewiston, Maine, born in Rumford, Maine, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earlon Paine and Mary Paine (Dorion); his sister Linda Jackson; his grandparents, Edmund and Ruth Dorion; his aunt Sarah Lawthers; and his uncle Edmund Dorion, Jr..
He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Jacques; his children, Amy Collins (Jeffrey) and Jameson Paine (Carmen) of Stratham, NH; his grandchildren, Sophie, Sean Collins, Andrew and Alexander Paine; his uncle Michael Lawthers of South Bluffton, SC; his cousin Terri Kelsea of Providence, RI; and his nephew Rick Jackson. He is also survived by classmates and many loving friends.
Due to concerns with COVID-19, a small private service and ceremony will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Richard's memory.
