She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Whittier and Margaret Whittier (Kacsmar); her daughter Lisa; and her sister Gertrude. She is survived by: her children, Frederick Drottar (Sophia) of Lisbon, Jeffrey Drottar of Westbrook and Christine Cormier (Scott) of Durham; and her grandchildren, Matt (Jen), Ryan, Zachary (Jessica), Sarah, Lauren and Megan.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name may be made to support the Lisbon Falls Community Library at 28 Main Street, Lisbon Falls, ME 04252. Checks can be made out to "Friends of the Lisbon Library" and should include "memorial-Dianne Drottar" in the memo line.
