He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Laverdiere and Laetitia Laverdiere (Lapointe); his daughter Cindy Lee Laverdiere; his brothers, Raymond, Joseph, Robert and Maurice Laverdiere; his godchild Carmen Laverdiere; and his brother-in-law Donald McCobb.

He is survived by : his wife Leona Yates Laverdiere of Livermore; his sons, Wayne Laverdiere (Debra Kovisars) of New Hampshire and Jon Laverdiere (Kristi Whittier) of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Megan, Samantha Laverdiere of New Hampshire and Levi Laverdiere of Monmouth; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Lajoie of Monmouth, Olivia and Travis Kovisars of New Hampshire; his siblings, Paul Norman Laverdiere (Harriet Sturtevant) of Skowhegan, Roger Laverdiere (Gail Bamford) of Livermore Falls and Laurette McCobb of Woolwich; and his sisters-in-law, Marie, Carol, Patricia and Faye Ann Laverdiere.
