With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva B. Pettegrow (Machias, Maine), born in East Machias, Maine, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Austin and Nora Parsons (Williger); her husband Neil Pettegrow; and her siblings, Emma, Helen, Myrtle, Elaine, Bion and George.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Sprague (Sam) of Machiasport, Sheila Daigle (Roger) of Plainfield, CT, Nancy Davis of Winter Harbor and Stanley Pettegrow (Sue) of Orrington; her grandchildren, Dawn, Douglas, Dennis, Joey, Stephen, Ginger, Chris, April, Nicholas, Patrick and Dakota; and her sisters, Phoebe Rudder of Ocala, FL and Beulah Axe (David) of Jefferson, TX. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
