It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Francoeur (Madawaska, Maine), born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emond Sarlabous and Marie Sarlabous (Francoeur); and her husband Ino Francoeur. She is survived by : her children, Pauline Shelton (Vincent) of North Carolina, Diane Dube (Maurice) of Frenchville, Denise Gerard (Bill) of St. Agatha, Jean Francoeur of Madawaska and Nancy Francoeur of Houlton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
