Merry E. Strout Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merry E. Strout of Mechanic Falls, Maine, born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William F. Cook and Jessie M. Elwell Cook; her stepfather Ivan Selden; her siblings, Harriett and John; and her grandchildren, Kasandra Schmieks and Dustin Hadfield.
She is survived by : her husband Alwin Strout of Mechanic Falls; her children, David Strout of Gorham and Linda Lajoie (Rick) of Gardiner; her grandchildren, Adam Hadfield of New Mexico, Dylan Lajoie of Brunswick, Cullen Lajoie of Lewiston, Amanda Dube of Auburn and Samantha Strout of South Carolina; her great grandchildren, Osiris and Orion Hadfield; and her sister-in-law Janice Cole. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
