He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas C.; and his sibling Daniel Cunningham. He is survived by: his spouse Rolande Cunningham (Hamel); his parent Geraldine Cunningham (Murphy); his nieces and nephews, Aliyah-Marie, Chianne, Donovan, Brock, Easton Hamel and Ridge Bissonette; his children, Timothy Cunningham and Melissa Cunningham; his nephew Corey Hamel; and his sibling Rosemary Michaud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, sister in laws and brother in laws.
