He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton Ranks and Eva Ranks (Briggs); his brother Omar; his wife Mary Tentunian; and his daughters, Corinne, Caroline Boenig (Thomas) of Livermore and Amelia Mott (James). He was also cherished by 13 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
