She is survived by : her parents, Walter Gallivan and Margaret Gallivan (McIlroy); her children, Steve Rau of Mount Vernon and Karen Steinhaus (Rau) of New Canaan; her daughter-in-law Shirley Rau (Taylor) of New Sharon; her grandchildren, Tesse of Augusta, Joshua (Yen) of Hong Kong, Jeremy of Chengdu, China, Johanna of Paris and France; and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Seraphine.
