Richard E. Parker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Parker of New Portland, Maine, who passed away on October 28, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Emily, Cammy and Bernard; his children, Heidi (Chris Lawson), Serena (David Poland), Josh (Donna Parker) and Joel (Virginia Parker); his stepchildren, Aaron, Andrew and Julie; and his grandchildren, Jynessa, Theodore (TJ), Caleb, Bryan, Julia, Asa, Kelsey, Travis, Auston, Jeremy, Gwen, Kacey, Rylan, Noah, Ruby, Jonah, Wesley, Joelle, Cordelia, Cullen and Madeline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and numerous close friends.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Road Maine Veterans' Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the The White Duck (2527 US-202, Winthrop, ME 04364).
