He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd C. and Mabel Damon Flanders; his spouse Florence M. Green; his sons, Franklin L. Flanders, Jr. and Frankie Lee Flanders; his grandson Jeffrey Lee; his sister Katherine Melvin; his brothers-in-law, Babe, Nathaniel Green and Frank Green; and his nephew Ed Quinn.
He is survived by: his daughter Eleanor Jean Thompson; his daughter-in-law Ellen Morse Flanders Bernier (Lou); his grandchildren, Kelly Ann Rugg (Abel), Vicky Lynn Phillips Withee (Randall), Eric and Arthur; and his great grandchildren, Melinda Sue Rugg, Mariah Ellen Kimball, Cody Lee, Little Man and Declan Witham. He is also survived by grand-children and great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews; as well as their Pleasant Street neighbors and the many special friends.
