She was predeceased by : her parents, Karl Flaherty and Mildred Flaherty (Malloch); her husband Donald; her daughter Brenda Daigle; her brother Terry Flaherty; and her brother-in-law Bruce Bowden.

She is survived by : her children, Gerald "Chip" Barrett of Orrington, Nancy Gormely (John) of Hudson and Cindy Black (Jeffrey) of Corinth; her grandchildren, Brian Daigle, Nicholas Daigle, Alicia Getzendiner, Nathan Barrett, Jason Black, Justin Springer, Benjamin Barrett, Matthew Springer and Katharine Mitchell; her sibling Lynn Bowden of Portland; and her nieces and nephews, Brian Bowden, Gary Bowden, Amy Mannette, Erik Flaherty, Lisa Flaherty and Elaine "Lanie" Hall.
