He is survived by: his father Kelton Bates of Patten; his daughter Kelsey Bates of St Albans Vermont; his brother Ron Bates (Kathleen); his sibling's children, Abraham, Amy and Lucas; and his stepchildren, Kristina, Kassie and Corrine of St Albans. He is also survived by 8 step grandchildren.
