He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kierstead Jr. and Hazel Kierstead (Phillips). He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Ebbeson of Pembroke; his children, Dorothea Dechaine of Fort Fairfield and Marc Kierstead; and his siblings, Linda Moffett (William) of Robbinston, Hazel Winchester (Lloyd "Pilly") of Pembroke, Mark Kierstead (Kathy) and Keith Kierstead (Kathy) of Southwest Harbor. He is also survived by his grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
