He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Cox and Alice Cox (Young); his wife Dottie Cox; his siblings, Dorothy, Bill and Earl; and his granddaughter Abigail Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Dunfee (Mark), David Cox (Barbie), John Cox (Karen) and Trudi Valdivia (Stephen); and his sister Francis Burr. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sanctuary Church (9 Maple St, Mars Hill, ME 04758). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Alton Cemetery (3420 Bennoch Rd, Old Town, ME 04468).
