It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Eric Kaufmann of Plymouth, Maine, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his former life partner Carole Jeanne Cassidy; his family Mark; his wife Irish; his daughters, Anastasia Kaufmann of Louisville and Erica Cassidy Dubois (Jeremy) of Bangor; his brothers, Fred Kaufmann of Johnson City and David Kaufmann of Jackson; his niece Tamara K. Welton of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his nephew Jonathan Kaufmann of Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Maine Academy of Modern Music, which provides music education to children and teens across Maine.
