Deborah Nielsen Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Deborah Nielsen (South Portland, Maine), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Deborah left this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Quatrano and Lorraine Quatrano; her brother John Quatrano; and her nephew Matthew Quatrano. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Nielsen; her stepdaughter Christine Nielsen (Jon Sanborn); her grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Alex Smith and Nicole Sanborn; and her siblings, Peter Quatrano (Maria), Charles Quatrano (Brenda) and Melissa Doughty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brooklawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org, in honor of Deborah's lifelong love for children.
