She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oswald McFarland and Edith McFarland; her children, Jennifer (Neal Poston), Craig (Heather Johnson) and Diane (Edward White); and her husband Curtis Johnson. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in her memory to Maine Audubon Society, Project Feed or Hospice of Southern Maine.
