It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meldeau A. Whitton Jr. (Portland, Maine), who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Meldeau Whitton Sr. and Gladys Hoar; and his sisters, Marlene, Beverly and Cheryl.
He is survived by: his children, Gregg and Stacey (Tom); his wife Estelle A. Boyle of Peaks Island; his daughter-in-law Debra; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Madeline, Christopher, Quinn and Elspeth. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and a large community of extended family and friends.
