He was predeceased by: his brother Walter "Pete" Dahms III. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dahms (Grimmer); his sons, Robert "Jim" Dahms Jr. (Robyn) of Gorham and Mark Dahms (Victoria) of Scarborough; his grandchildren, Matthew Dahms of Buxton, Shelby Lucier (Blake) of Kennebunk and Jon Dahms (Laura Nicolais); and his great grandchildren, Brock and Boone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel (498 Long Plains Rd, Buxton, ME 04093). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Brooklawn Memorial Park (2002 Congress St, Portland, ME 04102).
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 390 US Rt. 1, Scarborough, Maine 04074 for their comfort and support of Robert in his final weeks, or Tunnels for Towers, with memorial contributions made to Homes For Our Troops, 6 Main Street, Taunton, MA 02780.
