She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Laythe and Florence Laythe. She is survived by: her husband Willis Higgins; her sons, Frank Higgins (Janet Periat) and Edward Higgins (MaryPat); and her grandchildren, Atticus Bliss and Esson Bliss.
