We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2025, at the age of 100, Virginia Arlene DeBree (Portland, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice MacDonald and Allister Grant; her husband David; and her sister Audrey. She is survived by: her grandsons, Dave, Chris and Geoff; her sons, David E. and Steven N.; her grandchildren, David G., Christopher Michael, Geoffrey Steven and Leslie Lakhia (Abhijeet); her great grandchild Colin James; her grandchildren, Lilly Anne, Finnegan Marcus, Devi and Jonah Lakhia; and her brother Daniel T. Grant (Connie) of Scarborough.
She continued to keep a slate of students right up to 2020 and the COVID pandemic.
