He is survived by: his spouse Christine Shanley (Callahan); his children, Meagan Shanley of Pownal, ME, Vincent (Kimberly) of Reading and Mary Kate Shanley of Charlotte, NC.; his siblings, Patricia Ring, James Ring and Mary Villani; and his grandchildren, Sophie, Annabelle Shanley, Anna and Charlie Kausel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Vin may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute c/o David B. Perini, Jr.
