He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lynwood Ellis and Marion Oakes Ellis; his former life partner Barbara; his wife Lillian; his children, Valerie Zapolsky (Jeff), Pamela Ellis and Rob Ellis; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Nathan, Samuel, Ivan, Bethany, Connor and Athena; his great grandchildren, Violet and Eli; his children, Helen (Dennis), Cate and Kenneth (Alyson); his grandchildren, Laura, Stephanie, Aaron, Molly, Caroline and Kenneth; his great grandchild Lily; and his siblings, Greta Ellis Haley Pratt (Rodney) and Harry Albert Ellis (Jean). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
