He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Fickett and Mary Elizabeth Fickett (Martel); and his siblings, Evelyn, Marie, Clarence and Karl.

He is survived by : his spouse Emelene Hinkley; his daughters, Belinda Gaudet (John), Bethany Sirois (Patrick) and Brenda Lawrence (Edward); and his sisters, Betty Pratt and Priscilla Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
