He was predeceased by : his parents, Ovila Truchon and Victoria Truchon (Gagne); and his siblings, Romeo Truchon, Florence Christian, Cecile Roussea, Anita St. Hilaire, Germaine Dube, Jeanne Cloutier and Helen Ashby.

He is survived by : his wife Stella Truchon (Celani); his children, Patrick Truchon (Anita) of Walnut Creek, Nancy Fournier (Thomas) of Lewiston, Michael Truchon (Carol) and Thomas Truchon (Rolande); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Jonathan Fournier, Jeffrey Truchon (AmyLou), Jamie Truchon, Maegan Bagley (Brian), Monica Truchon and Kaela Jalbert; his great grandchildren, Cole Bagley and Elaina Mailhot; his sister Fedora Lavertu of Rhode Island; his sister-in-law Joan Truchon of Lewiston; and his friends, Bob and Linda St. Pierre.
