He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Maxim and Helena Maxim (Foster); his son Kirk Maxim; his wife Audrey Maxim; his son-in-law Christopher Truppa; and his siblings, Michael, Sirita, Betty and Shirley.

He is survived by : his children, Sherry Truppa, Robert Maxim Jr. and Marsha Graves (Marcel DeForge) of Sabattus; his grandchildren, Valerie Maxim, Thomas Maxim, Ryan Maxim, Haley Truppa (Jordan Pelkey), Katie Truppa, Chase Graves and Camden Graves; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Truppa and Danaca Truppa; and his siblings, Debbie and Gerry.
