He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brandt Herbert of Saco; his sons, Jeffrey Herbert (Christine) of Westbrook and Joshua Herbert; his siblings, Darrell Herbert (Jane) of Westbrook, Reginald Herbert of Gorham, Gregory Herbert (Sandy) of East Hampstead, NH, Judy Ducharme (Gerald), Cheryl Leconte (Kevin) of Gorham and Wendy Brown of Auburn; and his grandchildren, Alex, Maddie and Brandt.
