He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Witham and Mary Witham (Jordan); and his brothers, Brian and Brad. He is survived by: his close friend Becky McLean; his children, Michael Witham, Melissa Witham and Stacy Witham Morin; his stepchildren, Lisa True and Jason McLean; and his siblings, Bruce Witham, Walter Wright, Gwen Ricci and Marlene LaRose. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
