He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Doyle and Dorothy Doyle; and his siblings, Richard Doyle, Dorothy Swann, Kathleen Sadlier, Francis Doyle and Robert Doyle.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Donald C. Doyle Jr. (Christine) of Kalamazoo, Stephen Doyle (Joanne) of New Hampshire, Jayne Hitchcock-Poulin (Chris) of York and Nancy Diggins; his husband Jim of Weir; and his siblings, Geraldine Langill, Patricia Burr, Roland Doyle (Butch) and Barbara Hoover. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's name to Veterans Affairs Maine Health Care System, 1 VA Center Augusta, Maine, to Hospice of Southern Maine, Rt.
