He was predeceased by: his parents, George Woodrow Gagnon and Renee Gagnon (Patterson); his brother Edward Gagnon of North Dakota; and his cousin Dan Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Collay; his children, Nina J. Collay and George Yvon "Von" Gagnon; and his cousins, Tom Patterson, Mike Patterson, Kate Scheeler (Patterson) and Patricia Nielson (Gagnon).
