We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Janet E. Fernald of Saco, Maine, born in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George U. MacGarvey and Ethyl E. MacGarvey (Perkins); her husband Clayton W. Fernald; and her siblings, George U. MacGarvey, Jr., Paul D. MacGarvey and Jean Hudson (MacGarvey).
She is survived by: her children, Gale Pergande (Albert), Susan Smith (Charles), Stacey Hittle (Nicholas), Jennifer Lambert (Dana) and Peter Nicholas (Angela); and her stepchildren, Christopher Fernald, Sandra Hoffman and Roxy Whitaker. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic, a private service will be held at the Cote Funeral Home Chapel 87 James Street, Saco, Maine.
