She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Simkowitz and Alice Simkowitz (Sherwood); her husband Bertrand Cyr; and her siblings, Carolyn Reny, Alice O'Leary and David Simkowitz.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Cyr (Susan Bedard) and Brian Cyr (Cathy); her grandchildren, Corrie Cyr Boudreau (Matt Caldwell), Nikolas Cyr (Julie), Alicia Cyr (Matt LaVallee), Joshua Cyr and Amanda Cyr; her great grandchildren, Dakota, Lily and Tyler; and her siblings, Robert Simkowitz, Lawrence Simkowitz, Sylvia Nemet, Betty Desrosiers and Linda Grant (Johnny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
