He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary John and John Booth Jr. John. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Booth (Haley); his children, Michelle Merrill (William Merrill) and James Booth (Mindy Thorne); his granddaughters, Jazmin and Jianna Booth; his stepsons, Richard Jr. and Travis LaBelle (Amanda); and his stepgrandchildren, Jayde and Ella.
