He is survived by: his father Joseph Cooper; his grandchildren, Jamie, Teagan and Kora; his sisters, Pam Lunn and Kim Dijkoff; his close friends, Dave Demers and Dan Harmon; and also, Dawn, Jessica, Philip, Millicent and Victoria. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to the South Hiram Fire Department in honor of Joe.
