It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita G. Gilbert of Saco, Maine, born in Biddeford, Maine, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Maurice Gilbert; her parents, Philip Hebert and Leona Hebert (Boisvert); her children, Janet Tanski of Worcester, Joan Gilbert (Richard Lewis), Mary-Ann Gilbert of Saco, Kevin Gilbert (Julie) of Waterboro, Michael Gilbert (Angel Kinney) of Sanford, Marc Gilbert (Pam) of Biddeford and Ron Gilbert (Leah) of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Andrew, Azia, Evan (Laura), Jessica, Dr. Nathaniel Gilbert, Micah Maddox-Gilbert, Alex (Jacqueline Lussier), Nicholas Tanski (Courtney), Eden, Emily Hefron, Ryan and MacKenzie Townsend; her great grandchildren, Lillian and Olivia Tanski; and also Mary Ann Gilbert.
