He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Milton Rice and Irene Rice (Rancourt); his wife Carmen Rice (Beaudoin); his siblings, Doris Hubert and Edmund "Eddie" Rice; his son Matthew Rice; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; his grandson Jack; his sister-in-law Spring; his niece Kathleen; Stacy Conley.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine.
