He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred J. Gallant and Elizabeth Gallant (Caron); and his siblings, Lorraine, Amanda and Arthur.

He is survived by: his wife Denise Gallant of Sanford; and his sons, Michael Gallant (Robin) of Sanford and Paul Gallant (Lori) of Sanford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
