She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Brown and Muriel Brown; and her stepfather Lewis Sterling. She is survived by: her husband D. Robert Brown; her family, Rockland and Scarborough; her son Brett (Anna); her grandchildren, Julia, Laura and Sam Brown; her daughter Barbra (Brian); her grandchildren, Anna Driscoll Joyce (Ruth), Elena, Caroline and Ridge Driscoll; and her great grandchild Georgie Maeve Joyce.
