He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia Gillooly (Gonzalez); and his father Joseph J. Gillooly Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Gillooly (Zawislak); his children, Joseph J. Gillooly III of Lisbon, CT and Doreann Gillooly-Nasin (Jarrod) of Franklin, CT.; his grandchild Nor'Anna Nasin; his sister Anne Marie Gillooly; and his former wife Doris Enid Herrick (Steenstra).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints John & Paul Church (341 S Main St, Coventry, RI 02816).
