He was predeceased by : his parents, Kirk Barrett, Sr. and Beverly Boyd (Downs); his son Kirk; his former life partner Diana Dakin; and his son Kristian Barrett.
He is survived by : his children, Kraig Barrett, Danielle Barrett and Kevin Barrett (Kari); and his wife Cheryl Carrier. He is also survived by several grandchildren; one great grandchild.
